Nestled just outside Ballito in Shakashead, Ballito Brewing Company began as a passion project in August 2015. Founders Gary and Ursula Wilby left their corporate careers to transform home‑brewing into a full‑scale microbrewery, offering nine handcrafted styles—from crisp lagers to bold ales—on tap and in their online store.

Tasting Tours & Behind‑the‑Scenes Access
Visitors can book brewery tours (by appointment) led by Gary and Ursula themselves. These intimate sessions cover everything from the brewing process to the fascinating story of mastering brewing equipment—and include generous tastings of up to eight varieties.
